Kimiya

In this short video I have tried to summarize as much as possible the "Magnum Opus", a practice aimed at transmuting base metals into gold. The colors used, image composition and editing represent the four phases of the Magnum Opus, starting from Nigredo, the destruction of the Ego, up to Rubedo, the new birth, the transmutation into gold, the transformation of the Self. In summary, this video represents for me a "new birth" and the beginning of a new path that is represented in moving images. The name “Kimiya” carries a beautiful and profound meaning. It is derived from Persian origin, where it is often interpreted to mean “alchemy” or “elixir.”
